Sete Cachoeiras Estate Coffee group is very involved in social & environmental projects. The Health for All program manages the health & well-being of employees & their families. The women residing in the Sete Cachoeiras Estate are invited to participate in the Crafts Project, whose goal is to augment family income through the manufacture & sale of homemade jams & other crafts.

Environmentally, the coffee farm is managed using modern technologies. 50 percent of the farm allocated to coffee plants is overlain by native forests & reforestation projects. As their new objective is the reforestation of the ciliary forest, the group has signed a partnership with the organization SOS Mata Atlântica, with emphasis on the construction of ecological corridors & diversification of fauna & flora.

To reveal the inherent sweetness of this coffee, I roasted to a medium roast—the result is a wonderfully rich & smooth cup! Expect some subtle cashew notes upfront, followed quickly by a rich cocoa body & a soft brown sugar finish. Prepare using your favorite brew method—this is the coffee everyone agrees on!
